PETALING JAYA: SP Setia Bhd has launched Setia Fontaines Heritage Park at Setia Fontaines, Kepala Batas, reflecting the developer’s commitment to creating meaningful public spaces that support quality living, recreation, wellness and community engagement.
The launch was graced by Penang Governor Tun Ramli Ngah Talib and his wife Toh Puan Raja Noora Ashikin Raja Abdullah. Also present at the launch were State tourism and creative economy committee chairman Wong Hon Wai, Penang State Secretary Datuk Jafri Abdul Jalil, Penang state legislative assemblyman Bukhori Ghazali and SP Setia chief executive officer Datuk Zaini Yusoff.
“Setia Fontaines Heritage Park represents our continued commitment to building beyond homes. Through thoughtful placemaking, green public spaces and community-led experiences, we are shaping Setia Fontaines into an integrated township that contributes to Penang’s growth while creating long-term value for residents, visitors and the wider community,” Zaini said.
He added that the 100-acre park features a 63-acre man-made lake and a musical fountain, and is envisioned as more than a township amenity but as a new lifestyle and recreational attraction. The park also has strategic collaborations with Tourism Malaysia, Penang Global Tourism, Maybank and other partners to support tourism-related activations and public engagement.
Set within Setia Fontaines, the integrated township brings together residential, commercial, recreational, lifestyle and future employment components within the development.
