UEM Sunrise redefining connected and sustainable developments
For many years, UEM Sunrise Bhd has helped shape the Malaysian skyline not just with buildings but with places that bring people together. As one of the nation’s leading property developers and the flagship company for township and property development under UEM Group Bhd and Khazanah Nasional Bhd, the company has built a legacy of quality, innovation and community building.
From the bustling energy of Mont'Kiara to the vast masterplan of Iskandar Puteri, UEM Sunrise’s future-ready developments tell the perfect story. A city is only as strong as the communities that thrive within it.
Building places with purpose
UEM Sunrise’s hallmark lies in its mastery in township planning, creating living, working and leisure spaces that evolve alongside the people who inhabit them. The company’s portfolio staggeringly spans macro townships, high-rise residences, integrated mixed-use developments, commercial and industrial hubs, as well as international projects, complete with enabling infrastructure.
Its most ambitious example is Iskandar Puteri in Johor, envisioned as one of Southeast Asia's largest fully-integrated urban developments. Strategically positioned in Flagship B of the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ), the township is strengthening cross-border connectivity and unlocking new economic opportunities for the region.
Anchored by destinations like the scenic waterfront destination Puteri Harbour and the dynamic Gerbang Nusajaya, Iskandar Puteri has become a catalyst for growth in southern Malaysia. Every element from infrastructure and landscaping to the blend of homes and amenities has been designed with the goal of enriching everyday life.
At its core, UEM Sunrise builds more than properties. It builds places that grow with people through every lifestyle at every life stage. The company’s developments blend wellness, education, retail and recreation to create holistic environments where families, professionals, expatriates and retirees all find their rhythm.
This year, the developer rolled out several projects that embody this philosophy.
In Cyberjaya, the stunning Allegro at Symphony Hills offers a limited collection of 68 semi-detached residences that combine privacy with premium comfort suitable for inter-generational dwelling. With an expected gross development value (GDV) of RM143mil, Allegro’s leafy streets and modern architecture reflect a sense of calm. It is a place where, as UEM Sunrise puts it, the sunlight lingers a little longer and life slows down just enough to enjoy it.
Down south in Johor, Aspira Hills continues to capture attention. Phases 2A and 3A sold out within 48 hours of launch, perfect proof of its appeal among homebuyers seeking space and serenity. The low-density enclave offers just 12 homes per acre, featuring double-storey terraced houses between 1,743 sq ft and 1,820 sq ft. Together, the two phases carry a combined GDV of RM270mil.
Across the sea and into another continent, UEM Sunrise made headlines with its first project in Perth called One Oval, located in Australia's most liveable suburb of Subiaco. Set across two architecturally distinctive buildings, the development features one- to three-bedroom apartments and townhouses, designed to rejuvenate the 86.5-acre site of the former Subiaco Oval into a connected, vibrant community. With a GDV of RM1.35bil, it represents the company’s growing international presence and ambitions with experimenting with designs.
These launches have already contributed RM1.76bil towards UEM Sunrise’s 2025 target of RM2bil in GDV, a clear sign of momentum for the year ahead.

Sustainability at the heart
Beyond bricks and mortar, UEM Sunrise keeps a close watch on its environmental, social and governance pillars. Sustainability is planted into everything the company does. This goes from biodiversity and low-carbon design to thoughtful community engagements.
As the developer’s flagship green initiative, SIREH Park has been recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records as the nation’s largest urban community green recreational park. Situated in Iskandar Puteri, SIREH Park is a 343-acre haven for both people and nature. It serves as a living laboratory for sustainability education, biodiversity awareness and recreation.
Through its Plant That Tree initiative, UEM Sunrise aims to plant 25,000 native trees between 2023 and 2028. As of mid-2025, 11,309 trees have already taken root. The initiative is estimated to absorb roughly 300,000kg of carbon dioxide annually while restoring natural habitats.
In the Klang Valley, The Beat at Kiara Bay reflects the same philosophy in built form. The bustling commercial hub integrates renewable energy through 1,702 photovoltaic panels, generating up to 1,004 kWp. This offsets about 26% of the development’s total energy use and reduces nearly 80 tonnes of CO² emissions every month.
Digital innovation making life easier
In a digital age, UEM Sunrise continues to redefine the homebuyer’s journey. Through platforms like HomeClick, homebuyers can browse UEM Sunrise’s developments in detail and secure a housing loan from partner banks in a matter of minutes. This seamless, tech-enabled ownership journey future-proofs current and future developments.
Creating thriving urban ecosystems
Today, UEM Sunrise is where connectivity, sustainability and liveability come together. Its first-half performance in 2025, marked by doubled revenue and strong sales across key markets, proves not only solid fundamentals but also growing trust among buyers.
Yet, the company’s vision extends far beyond numbers. Each home, township and development is on a mission to nurture communities that endure and thrive. To learn more about its developments, visit www.uemsunrise.com.

“We have made significant progress, not just in our financial performance but in how we think, plan and build. This recognition would affirm the path we are on, building not just homes but trust, progress and long-term impact."
