SELANGOR: Tropicana Corporation Bhd has completed Umara Shop Offices at Tropicana Aman ahead of schedule, with the commercial development recording a 100% take-up and an 83% Quality Assessment System in Construction (Qlassic) score. Comprising two- and three-storey shop offices, Umara serves as a commercial component within the developer's 863-acre Tropicana Aman township.

Tropicana marketing, sales and business development managing director Ixora Ang said the township has continued to grow since the launch of its first residential phase in 2015. “Today, Umara is the township's vibrant commercial heart, supporting entrepreneurs, retailers and service providers within a thriving, integrated community,” she said.

Tropicana Aman also comprises residential and commercial developments, an 85-acre Central Park with a 7km walking and cycling trail as well as private and public schools. Ang said the early completion, full take-up and Qlassic score reflected the developer's focus on quality while expanding the township's amenities for its growing residential population.

Building on Umara, Tropicana is also introducing Varia Shop Offices as the township's next commercial phase. The development will comprise 151 two-, three- and four-storey shop offices, with layouts ranging from 22ft by 70ft to 40ft by 70ft.

Designed for businesses including food and beverage outlets, professional offices, retail and lifestyle services, Varia will feature multiple access points, customer parking and selected units with lift provisions. Tropicana said the commercial development will serve an estimated population catchment of approximately 500,000 and a workforce of more than 4,000.

Tropicana Aman is accessible via several major highways, including KESAS, LKSA, SKVE, ELITE, NKVE, the Federal Highway and the West Coast Expressway.
