PETALING JAYA: Tropicana Corporation Bhd has begun implementing the Tropicana Integrated Management System (TIMS), an 18-month company-wide initiative aimed at streamlining processes, strengthening governance and improving organisational performance.
Running until the end of 2027, TIMS brings together the group's key business functions and management disciplines under a single framework, covering areas including project management, finance, sales and marketing, human resources, procurement, ESG, risk management and quality assurance.
Built around People, Process and Performance, the framework is intended to standardise workflows, improve cross-functional collaboration and reduce duplication across the organisation.
TIMS also incorporates quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management alongside risk management and anti-bribery practices. The framework uses the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle to support continuous improvement.
The initiative complements Tropicana's wider ESG strategy by integrating sustainability, governance, risk and compliance considerations into its day-to-day operations. The group maintained its 4-Star ESG rating under the FTSE ESG assessment with Bursa Malaysia for two consecutive years in 2025 and 2026.
TIMS forms part of its efforts to strengthen its business fundamentals and build a more integrated and resilient organisation as its operations continue to evolve.
