PETALING JAYA: Eastern and Oriental (E&O)’s commercial development Laman Embun, located in the City of Elmina, Shah Alam, has been fully taken up since its launch last November. E&O said the achievement sets the stage for the launch of the residential township Seri Embun, planned for February this year.
Comprising 110 units of two- and three-storey shop offices, ranging from 3,256 sq ft to 10,883 sq ft and lots sizes starting from 22 ft by 75 ft, Laman Embun’s success reflects a strong market demand and growing confidence in a well-planned township, E&O said. The developer has envisioned its next chapter, Seri Embun, as a natural extension of an integrated neighbourhood, guided by E&O's long-standing placemaking philosophy.
“Seri Embun reflects a more holistic way of thinking about where people live, where daily needs, social spaces, work opportunities and quality of life come together in one coherent environment,” said managing director Kok Tuck Cheong.
The upcoming township builds on community anchors introduced earlier within E&O’s Elmina developments, including the first clubhouse in the area and commercial components.
Positioned on naturally elevated ground overlooking Elmina, Seri Embun appeals to residents seeking an enhanced living experience, where the height and openness of the terrain enhance the township’s sense of place within its wider environment.
