KUALA LUMPUR: Pavilion Kuala Lumpur has been named Best Strategic Partner by Ant International at Voyage 2026, recognising its role in advancing Alipay+’s cross-border business in Malaysia and enabling seamless digital payment experiences for international travellers.
As a strategic partner of Alipay+, Pavilion KL helped expand payment acceptance, strengthen merchant participation and increase awareness of digital payment solutions while working closely with Alipay+ on traveller-focused initiatives that enhance on-site visibility and engagement.
This includes the launch of the Malaysia Year-End Sale (MYES) with Tourism Malaysia in 2024, marking Alipay+’s first Malaysia campaign. Pavilion KL created an immersive shopping journey for international visitors while helping merchants reach global consumers.
The Pavilion representative who received the award was Pavilion KL marketing director Kung Suan Ai, presented by Ant International AliPay+ Global Next Centre chief strategy officer and general manager Toby Xu, Alipay+ Global Power Centre general manager Edward Yue and Alipay+ Global Growth Centre general manager Danny Chung.
The latest accolade follows Pavilion KL’s recent recognition at the PPK Malaysia Awards 2025 - 2026 with a Platinum award for Pavilion KL: The Icon of Malaysian Experiences. Together, these achievements bring the tally to 67 industry accolades to date.
