KUALA LUMPUR: JLL Malaysia, a leading real estate services firm, has announced that its new 10,635 sq ft headquarters at Menara IQ, Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) has achieved WELL Certified™ Gold certification from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). This milestone makes JLL among the first professional services firms in Malaysia to secure both WELL Gold and LEED Gold certifications for the same workspace, following the office's LEED Gold achievement in August 2025.
The dual certification represents a groundbreaking achievement in Malaysia's commercial real estate sector, positioning JLL's workspace as the country's first comprehensively dual-certified office that prioritises both environmental sustainability and human wellbeing. The WELL Gold certification was awarded under the rigorous WELL Building Standard v2, making this the first JLL office in the APAC region to achieve certification under this enhanced framework.

"This achievement reflects JLL's unwavering commitment to creating workspaces that truly serve both people and planet," said JLL Malaysia managing director Jamie Tan. "By becoming among the first in Malaysia to achieve this dual certification, we're not just setting a new standard for our industry – we're demonstrating that exceptional workplace wellness and environmental responsibility can thrive together."
The WELL certification evaluates workspaces across ten critical areas: air, water, nourishment, light, movement, thermal comfort, sound, materials, mind and community. JLL Malaysia's office distinguished itself through comprehensive wellness integration including advanced indoor air quality monitoring with five sensors tracking PM2.5, CO2 and TVOCs, extensive biophilic design featuring natural elements and abundant greenery as well as optimised lighting systems with low Unified Glare Rating (UGR 16) fixtures for enhanced visual comfort.
The office actively promotes employee well-being through 25% height-adjustable standing desks, ergonomic workstations with external monitors and direct access to the 10-acre TRX City Park located just 650 ft away. Mental health support is embedded through quarterly awareness programs, annual training initiatives, and workspace design that maximises natural light and nature connection.
"Achieving this certification validates our holistic approach to employee wellbeing," said Tan. "From advanced air quality monitoring to dedicated spaces for nursing mothers and comprehensive mental health support, every element of our workspace is designed to help our teams thrive."
Beyond physical wellness, the office champions inclusive community building, comprehensive DEI policies with transparent tracking and reporting, and thoughtfully designed social spaces including dedicated lactation facilities. The office food & beverage area promotes healthy nutrition with daily complimentary fresh fruits and vegetables, while varied seating arrangements in communal areas encourage collaboration and connection among team members.
The strategic TRX location enhances employee wellness by providing seamless connectivity to MRT and bus networks, promoting active commuting and reducing environmental impact while supporting work-life balance.
This dual certification achievement positions JLL Malaysia at the forefront of the country's evolving workplace landscape, demonstrating tangible business value through enhanced employee attraction, retention, and productivity gain. The comprehensive approach addresses growing market demand for workspaces that deliver measurable benefits for people, business performance, and environmental stewardship.

"We're proving that world-class sustainability and exceptional human wellness aren't competing priorities – they're complementary foundations for business growth and success," said chief growth officer Christophe Vicic.
The achievement reinforces JLL's position as Malaysia's workplace innovation leader, offering clients deep expertise in creating high-performance environments that drive both human potential and business results while advancing environmental responsibility.
