PETALING JAYA: Eco Business Park VII (EBP VII) has hosted the second edition of EcoWorld Connects: Business Ascend Forum that brought together the entrepreneurs behind three Malaysian ventures, namely Colony Coworking and Event Spaces (Colony), Aerodyne Group (Aerodyne) and Santan for back-to-back sharing sessions and a moderated panel discussion.
"EcoWorld Connects was built on a simple idea that businesses grow faster when they grow together. The response to our first forum told us the community wanted more, so this time we brought in leaders who have taken that next leap themselves. EBP VII is designed as a business ecosystem, where space, community and connections come together to help companies take their next step with confidence," said EcoWorld deputy chief executive officer Liew Tian Xiong.
The forum is part of EBP VII's effort to grow a business community around the development in Malaysia Vision Valley 2.0 (MVV 2.0). It also marked the opening of registration for the SME Core’s second phase, following the full take-up of the first. SME Core second phase offers 136 units of cluster and semi-detached factories.
During the forum, Colony chief executive officer Timothy Tiah, Aerodyne founder and group chief executive officer Datuk Kamarul A Muhamed and Santan chief executive officer Catherine Goh shared how they recognised and acted on the opportunities that grew their businesses. EBP V and VII operations head Clement Liaw moderated the panel discussion on preparing for the next phase of growth.
One Credit was a partner hosting exhibition booths at the venue, where attendees met the teams and continued the morning's conversations. YYC Group chief executive officer Datin Yap Shin Siang, Malaysia Retail Chain Association (MRCA) president Datuk Liew Bin and EcoWorld’s Eco Central-North and Eco Business Park chief development officer Datuk Ho Kwee Hong were also among those present.
