Mah Sing’s senior management and staff celebrated their win at the Malaysia Property Award 2025 gala dinner.
PETALING JAYA: Mah Sing Group Bhd (Mah Sing) has won the Malaysia Property Awards (MPA) 2025 for M Oscar, a freehold residential development located in Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur.
Organised by FIABCI-Malaysia, the 33rd edition this year was graced by Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Melaka Tun Mohd Ali Rustam, who presented the award to Mah Sing’s chief operating officer Chris Chen.
M Oscar was built to exemplify sustainable urban living and sets new standards in quality, safety and community engagement. This project achieved an 85% Qlassic score, underscoring superior workmanship and adherence to industry standards. During its construction phase, M Oscar recorded 2.4 million man-hours without Lost Time Injury (LTI), highlighting Mah Sing’s strong safety culture and emphasis on delivery excellence.
Over 55% of its land area is dedicated to greenery, with 531 trees planted throughout the development, more than 65% of which are native species adapted to Malaysia’s climate. Notably, over 10% of the trees belong to species listed on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, contributing to global conservation efforts. In addition, 25% of plantings are nectar- and bird- attracting species, promoting biodiversity and reducing the urban heat island effect.
M Oscar also features a 2.7-acre facilities podium for recreation, fitness and family activities, including herb gardens to encourage urban farming and sustainable living practices. To support greener mobility, the development includes EV charging bays with additional provisions on every parking floor, alongside a shuttle service connecting residents directly to nearby MRT stations, reducing reliance on private vehicles and lowering carbon emissions.
