KUALA LUMPUR: Property developer UEM Sunrise Bhd has partnered with Affin Bank in the Home Step Fast/i campaign to foster more home ownership by providing buyers with financing solutions.

Tailored to a young target market comprising graduates and first-time home buyers, the campaign offers low monthly repayments for the first five years upon completion of the project. For those who need access to emergency funds, buyers can also convert the loan into a savings scheme. The campaign’s design is suitable for investors and new homebuyers who want to reap the benefits of a higher rental yield while preserving their cash flow.

The campaign, which does not have a lock-in period or early settlement fee for buyers, facilitates fast loan settlements. UEM Sunrise has allocated RM300mil to the programme.

“We understand that it can be daunting, especially for first-time house buyers. Not only do they have to be faced with choosing the right development that can cater to their needs, but there is also a plethora of options for end-financing,” UEM Sunrise chief executive officer Sufian Abdullah said.

The campaign covers UEM Sunrise projects in the Southern region such as Aspira Park Homes, Aspira Gardens, Aspira LakeHomes, Estuari Gardens, Senadi Hills, Residensi Solaris Parq, Residensi Astrea and Verdi Eco-dominiums.

In Klang Valley, participating projects include KAIA Heights and Residensi AVA.

“With our Affin Bank tie-up for this campaign, we hope that our attainably priced products are made even more accessible, especially for young house buyers looking to set up their first homes built by a reputable property developer with a strong track record such as UEM Sunrise,” Sufian said.

UEM Sunrise chief marketing officer Kenny Wong, Affin Bank Mortgage Business managing director Jessie Wong Yen Yee, director of mortgage sales Edward Cheah Soon Huat and strategic alliance mortgage business director Kelvin Chin were present at the launch.
