PETALING JAYA: Tropicana Golf and Country Resort (TGCR), a subsidiary of Tropicana Corporation Bhd (Tropicana), leapt into the Year of the Rabbit with its Abundance of Prosperity Lunar New Year menu. Presented in conjunction with Spring Garden, the festive feast runs from Jan 5 to Feb 5, 2023, catering for a wide range of celebrations including yee sang, buffet, set and a la carte menus.
Launched at a preview event at TGCR's Grand Ballroom, the sumptuous spread includes favourites such as Szechuan-style roasted whole lamb leg, Prosperity Treasure seafood soup, steamed village chicken with ginseng and more.
“The Year of the Water Rabbit brings with it the promise of peace and prosperity. In this spirit, we launched Abundance of Prosperity to bring family and friends together at Tropicana Golf and Country Resort’s signature The Palm Coffee House and Twenty7 restaurants. This year, they are joined by Spring Garden, offering Lunar New Year specialties such as braised abalone with dried seafood, steamed dragon tiger grouper with cordyceps in superior soy sauce and more,” Tropicana project executive director Allan Wong said.
Catering for a range of dietary preferences, Abundance of Prosperity features salmon, jellyfish and fresh fruit yee sang. The traditional lunar new year salad invites diners to mix and toss a colourful range of ingredients to usher in prosperity for an auspicious 2023.
In addition, the extensive menu offers TGCR’s characteristic medley of festive delicacies, tantalising the palate with a harmonious mix of savoury, sweet and sour flavours. From the wok-fried fish fillet with ginger and scallion, balancing the crispy fried seafood with the fresh tartness of garden aromatics, to luscious desserts like the double-boiled dried fig, longan, peach raisin with red dates and white fungus, Abundance of Prosperity is an appetising complement and centrepiece for family reunions across the board.
For private engagements, diners can opt for Spring Garden’s sought-after VIP rooms. Abundance of Prosperity’s buffet packages range from RM118++ per pax, while Spring Garden’s lunch and dinner packages cater for up to 10 pax with prices from RM1,188++ to RM1,988++.
