OWNERS of 76 units of Bayu Terrace Houses at Subang Indah PJS 11 are finally getting the title transfer of their property.

The residents faced difficulties in selling or using their property as collateral to obtain loans as there was no title transfer after they purchased the property from the developer.

They then sought the help of Subang Jaya assemblyman Hannah Yeoh in July last year.

“With the help of the state Land and Mines Office as well as the Petaling Land and District Office, we have successfully solved this title transfer issue,” said Yeoh.

As Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali has signed the approval letter to give a blanket consent to purchasers who have sent relevant documents to the lawyer appointed by the developer, they will go through adjudication to complete the title transfer process.

Yeoh said the process would take about four weeks.

“I feel happy as my house will finally have my name on it,” said owner Letchmanan Vythilingam, 68, with a smile on his face.
