KLANG: Mitraland Group has officially launched Bayou Quartz, a lakeside landed residential development in Kota Bayuemas, Klang. Spanning approximately 52 acres of freehold land, the development is the latest addition to Mitraland’s Quartz Series, offering two- and three-storey Garden Villas and Park Villas.
Phase 1 comprises 287 units, with intermediate homes offering built-up areas of up to 2,695 sq ft and corner units up to 3,135 sq ft. Phase 1A, comprising 118 units, recorded a 90% take-up rate, prompting the opening of Phase 1B in conjunction with the official launch.
Bayou Quartz has obtained Provisional GreenRE Bronze certification and features a 24-hour gated and guarded community, a two-acre clubhouse, 3km jogging path, elevated green deck and three-acre lake park.
Selected homes also feature private gardens, home lift-ready layouts and covered parking for two to three vehicles. Intermediate units offer up to four-plus-one bedrooms, while corner units provide up to five-plus-one bedrooms.

With Chen at the official launch were Mitraland Group deputy executive chairman Chuah Theong Yee, chief operating officer Tan Chee Hoaw, chief financial officer Caroline Wong and sales and marketing director Stanley Chew.
Bayou Quartz builds on Mitraland’s Quartz Series legacy. The series includes 16 Quartz in Melawati, recognised as the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Gold World Winner 2018 for the Residential (Low Rise) category. This was followed by 22 Quartz in Setia Alam, a 22-acre freehold development comprising 326 villas and winner of the StarProperty Real Estate Developer Awards 2025 - Excellence in The Family-Friendly Award (Landed) - Selangor.
