Property agency IQI Realty Sdn Bhd’s Swiss Tan’s hard work paid off when she sealed the deal for a bungalow in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, for her client.
Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI) is primarily a residential neighbourhood with businesses ranging from retail shops, restaurants and some high rise office buildings. As one of the highly-sought areas for the more affluent, this suburb was named after Malaysia’s former Deputy Prime Minister.
Originally a 286-hectare rubber estate, this area, which was once considered too rural, has grown to full maturity since its birth in 1974. Developed by two prominent developers at the time, UDA and Seapark Housing Corp Sdn Bhd, this suburb came to prominence after several catalytic transformations that triggered its prestigious status.
Connected by several highways like Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP) and Sprint Highway, recent public transportation connectivity include the mass rapid transit (MRT) line 1 and the future light rail transit (LRT) 3, which will increase the accessibility to this suburb.
The residential properties here offer good values, and there are many gated-and-guarded communities with better security. Like the bungalow that Swiss Tan recently sold, many of the older houses in this quiet and peaceful residential district have bigger build-ups.
