PETALING JAYA: TA Global is planning to open its multifaceted and cultural lifestyle destination DA Square @ Damansara Avenue next month.

The retail component is one of the six complementary components that form the mixed development in Bandar Sri Damansara. The other components are residential, office towers, lush green landscapes, a dedicated sports complex and a performing arts centre.

Anchoring DA Square is Japanese global apparel retailer Uniqlo, which will debut the very first Uniqlo roadside community-based store in Malaysia. The store will offer a comprehensive product portfolio that highlights the everyday comfort and sartorial perfection that the store is celebrated for. 

Other brands residing in DA Square include Starbucks, The Brew House, 7-Eleven, Fook Yin Lau, Mr Bento and Victoria 25 Café.

Spread across 48 acres, Damansara Avenue’s interconnectivity and communal spirit, the development is poised to deliver a refreshing, multi-dimensional way for the community of Bandar Sri Damansara and beyond to dine, shop and gather. 

Aligned with TA Global’s vision to raise greater awareness and appreciation of the works of local arts and cultural talents, DA Square is aimed as a vibrant artistic hotspot of the city. 

“Though a temporary construction, DA Square shall fulfil its purpose as a precursor to Ativo Annexe, offering the public a preview of the many more exciting retail and lifestyle venues that the next phase of our masterplan shall bring. 

“We are highly confident that Uniqlo and all our anchor tenants at DA Square will continue to stay and grow with us as the masterplan unfolds,” said TA Global CEO Tiah Joo Kim.

During the store handover ceremony, TA Global also announced the team's success in securing full occupancy for DA Square.  

“Our first roadside store at DA Square @ Damansara Avenue marks our continuous expansion in this market. It is a new type of store for Malaysia that complements our existing network of mall-based stores,” said Uniqlo Malaysia and Singapore CEO Yuki Yamada.
