SHAH ALAM: SNT Global Logistics Sdn Bhd (SNT) officially unveiled its RM80mil Smart Warehouse in U10, Shah Alam, Selangor. Spanning 175,000 sq ft, the new facility integrates advanced automation and smart warehouse technologies to improve efficiency, expand fulfilment capabilities and support the growing needs of businesses across multiple sales channels.

The new Smart Warehouse combines robotics, artificial intelligence and automated systems with SNT’s internally developed Warehouse Management System software to improve inventory management, goods movement, sorting and order fulfilment.

“For many years, logistics was viewed primarily as a back-end cost centre. Today, it has become an important factor in determining how successfully businesses compete, expand and respond to new opportunities. At SNT, we recognised this shift early and have continuously evolved our capabilities over the past two decades, guided by our vision to be our customers’ greatest advantage for growth. Our ambition is not simply to build bigger warehouses or move more goods but to create lasting value for our customers while helping raise the standard of fulfilment services in Malaysia,” said SNT founder and chief executive officer David Wong.

SNT was among the early recipients of Integrated Logistics Services (ILS) status from MIDA which was recently extended for another five years. The launch also saw SNT’s Smart Warehouse receiving GreenRE Gold Certification for its sustainable building design. The facility features solar energy, rainwater harvesting, water-efficient systems and environmentally friendly building materials.

At the ceremony, GreenRE Sdn Bhd director Datuk Seri Michael Yam presented the certificate to Wong. Also present were Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) maritime and logistics services division oil and gas director Habibah Enok and ESG Association of Malaysia (ESGAM) president Cheah Kok Hoong.

SNT is exploring further expansion across Malaysia and is planning to develop another Smart Warehouse in the Klang Valley. It has also recently acquired two acres of land in the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone to support its operations in southern Malaysia.
