Sime Darby Property’s industrial products see 100% take-up

ARA DAMANSARA: Sime Darby Property Bhd continued its hot streak of successful 100% take-up rates of new products with Twin Factories 2 in Elmina Business Park, Selangor and Hamilton Industrial Park 1 in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. 

A total of 22 units of Twin Factories 2 and 42 units of Hamilton Industrial Park 1 were booked during their respective launches recently. The total gross development value of the properties is RM328.58mil.

Sime Darby Property group managing director Datuk Azmir Merican said that the achievement is a testament to the company’s ability to deliver in-demand products across different types of offerings. 

“The response to our industrial products launched this year have been encouraging, with take-up rates of over 90% registered from the three recent launches. Sime Darby Property will continue to identify suitable locations to develop industrial product options within our townships which offer convenient access to major expressways and logistics hubs and grow our industrial and logistics segment further,” he said. 

Twin Factories 2 features 3-in-1 functionality in addition to industry-leading design features such as a dedicated advertisement space at the rear façade and a flexible mezzanine floor that can be converted to a product showroom or meeting space. 

With efficient and convenient logistics in mind, Twin Factories 2 is designed with front-loading access, a motorised roller shutter, three-way access for easy circulation of goods, ample parking spaces for trucks and passenger vehicles, as well as a 100-metre-wide road reserve for easy manoeuvring of heavy vehicles. Twin Factories 2 features a built-up of 6,500 sq ft and lot size of 70 ft x 160ft. The semi-detached factories are priced from RM4mil.

In contrast, the Hamilton Industrial Park 1 features freehold industrial lots with sizes ranging from one to nine acres. The product comes equipped with ample amenities, utilities and communication infrastructure with a price starting from RM3mil. It is accessible via the Lekas, Plus, Elite and MEX expressways.
