PETALING JAYA: SP Setia Bhd’s upcoming development Setia Federal Hill in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur is awarded Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Neighbourhood Development (LEED ND) Platinum certification, a testament to the group’s commitment to environmental stewardship, smart urban planning and community inclusivity.
Conferred by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), the group said Setia Federal Hill is Malaysia’s first development to achieve the highest rating under the LEED ND v4 framework.
“Known as the highest rating awarded by the USGBC, this is a significant milestone, not only for Setia but also for the advancement of sustainable urban developments in Malaysia,” said executive vice president Liong Kok Kit at the award ceremony.
Sprawling on 52-acre tract, Setia Federal Hill has an estimated gross development value of RM1.4bil and will comprise two residential towers with approximately 1,300 units. Partnering with Mitsui Fudosan, its first tower, Parkside Residences is slated to be launched in the second half of 2025.
Also present were chief strategy officer Lindayani Tajuddin and USGBC managing director Gopal Krishnan.
