PETALING JAYA: Sunway City Iskandar Puteri (SCIP) has launched Sunway Puteri Hills, a hilltop gourmet destination with a curated mix of local favourites and internationally inspired dining concepts. Located within SCIP, the unique open-air destination combines architecture, nature and culinary excellence, reflecting the evolving lifestyle landscape of Iskandar Puteri.

Spanning over 10 acres with a total developed gross floor area and landscaped space of 300,000 sq ft, there are 15 curated F&B lots featuring 11 unique brands making their debut with their very first outlet in Johor.

Among the notable brands is Made on Monday, a minimalist brutalist-inspired cafe concept combining a bold contemporary aesthetic with a curated cafe and art gallery experience. The halal-certified concept will also introduce exclusive signature beverages and handcrafted specialty drinks.

Fusion food outlet a'rest Cafe will debut its first flagship and largest cafe concept to date, featuring an Asian Western fusion dining experience alongside private dining spaces for celebrations and gatherings.

Hock Kee Kopitiam will introduce its first ocean-view dining concept, called Makan Makan by Hock Kee together with a dedicated event hall and garden courtyard space designed for weddings, celebrations and social occasions.

Kenny Hills Bakers is expected to open in Q4 2026, marking its first outlet in Johor and its first sea-view concept outlet in Malaysia, introducing a new scenic dining experience for the well-known bakery brand.

Beyond dining, the launch introduced three experience zones designed to encourage visitors to slow down and linger — from the Balcony, with its daytime lounge, Stop Shop market and Sunset Circle acoustic sessions, to Viewpoint, home to the Coastal Post Office and Conversation Wall installations overlooking the sea. The walkway of tenants converts to round out the experience with local makers, workshops and a curated open-air market.

Present at the launch were SCIP chief executive officer Gerard Soosay, chief operating officer Pu Suan Hau, Sunway Group executive director Azharuddin, Sunway Malls group managing director HC Chan, Sunway Malls Southern Region chief executive officer KS Wong, chief leasing officer of Sunway Malls Eric Tee and senior director of leasing Michael Poh.
