SINGAPORE: Cover Projects has commenced the soft opening of Singapore’s first wellness-focused service residence dubbed The Initial Sama and is now welcoming its first guests to the facility.

Located at 26, Evans Road and a stone’s throw from the Singapore Botanic Gardens and leading medical institutions, the development is positioned to cater to global citizens such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and China seeking rest, rehabilitation and reconnection.

The Initial Sama has received the Temporary Occupation Permit in its 92-unit residential facility. The development offers a diverse range of accommodations, including studio units, 33 one-bedroom superior units, 12 one-bedroom deluxe units, and 12 two-bedroom deluxe units.

“As we unveil The Initial Sama, we’re not just launching an accommodation, we are introducing a new way of living in the city. This project reflects our belief that wellness, design, and heritage can co-exist meaningfully, serving the needs of tomorrow’s global citizens,” said Cover Projects managing director Lim Keong Wee, who is one of the grandsons of the late Lim Goh Tong, the patriarch and founder of Genting Group.

Facilities include a 34,444 sq ft garden area transformed into a vibrant, biodiverse sanctuary, a sensory garden, an outdoor pool, coworking lounges and dedicated spa treatment suites and wellness hub facilitating a HYROX gym and yoga studio. Additionally, a selected F&B outlet and medical clinic will open on-site in September, further complementing the residence’s vision of holistic and integrated wellbeing.
