PETALING JAYA: About 120 children from Setia Caring School Programme, were sponsored by the S P Setia Foundation for a fun-filled educational trip, at Kuala Lumpur recently.
According to statement, more than 30 volunteers from Team Setia and Setia Foundation with S P Setia Foundation chairman, Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Wan Zahid Noordin took time off to bring children from a select number of schools, around KL during a three-day two-night trip.
Amongst the places visited include KL City Gallery, the National Monument and KL Tower. They also stopped by at Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) to have a glance at the famous Petronas Twin Towers as well as the colourful marine life in Aquaria KLCC.
Other highlights of the trip included the activity sessions at JumpStreet, and the interactive sessions at Petrosains which were both fun filled and educational.
The children, who took the opportunity to meet other students and make new friends, came from SK Batu Feringgi, SJK (C) Aik Hua and SJK (T) Tasek Permai from Penang, as well as SK Kota Dalam, SJK (C) Seelong and SJK (T) Ladang Kulai Besar in Johor.
Setia Caring School Programme which started in 2015, aims to nurture a more emphatic and morally-grounded society, rooted in the core idea of cultivating a caring society.
