PUCHONG: Masteron Group has marked a significant milestone in the evolution of its 155-acre integrated township in Puchong with the official unveiling of The Lakeside Gallery and the launch of Astra2. More than a routine project launch, the event highlights the developer’s guiding philosophy, Mastering New Lifestyles, which redefines traditional township development by prioritising community, recreation and placemaking from the very beginning rather than leaving them as an afterthought.
Established in 1982, Masteron brings over four decades of expertise spanning property development, construction, hospitality and asset management, having successfully delivered over 10,000 units to date. With The Lakeside, the group aims to create an environment where residents can enjoy meaningful experiences and strong social connections from the moment they move in.
Executive director Datuk Choy Wai Hin emphasised that building a township is not just about delivering homes but about fostering a connected way of life that grows alongside its community. Also present at the event were director Choy Kin Mann, sales and marketing senior manager Sharon Khor and project general manager Lee Ong Ping.
The Lakeside itself is taking shape as a vibrant live-work-play ecosystem. Its residential journey began with the handover of Aurora Blocks A and B, followed by the encouraging market response to Astra. The 37-storey Aurora comprises a total of 752 units, offering sizable homes from 1,141 sq ft to 1,238 sq ft.
Astra and Astra2, both standing at 27 storeys, offers 728 units from 570 sq ft to 1,238 sq ft. The two towers of Aurora are fully sold while Astra has a take-up rate of 92% and Astra2 60%. Astra units are priced from RM311,600 to RM788,700 while Astra 2’s are from RM324,100 to RM814,500.
The introduction of Astra2, forming Tower D of the development, represents the next phase of residential growth, paving the way for future commercial precincts, mixed-use developments and landed neighbourhoods. All four towers share a 5.5-acre facilities podium and the project is expected to be fully completed by Q3 2029.
To ensure the township comes alive long before its final phase is completed, Masteron is introducing a rich collection of lifestyle destinations. Central to this approach is The Lakeside Gallery, designed as an immersive gateway where visitors can experience the masterplan and natural surroundings firsthand.
The waterfront will also feature Starvalley, operated by Stellar Group, bringing premium glamping experiences, lakeside cafés, American BBQ dining and family recreational spaces to the area. Paired with existing wakeboarding facilities and a planned horse paddock, The Lakeside is positioned not merely as a residential address but as an active destination for both residents and the wider community.
