KUALA LUMPUR: Rembawang Holdings Sdn Bhd has unveiled its latest undertaking, 97 Scott, a freehold purpose-built low-density urban residence designed for modern city living.
Expected to become the city’s next landmark destination, the development has a gross development value (GDV) of over RM100mil. Situated on Jalan Scott, the 38-storey tower comprises 97 units across a 0.33-acre site.
97 Scott is designed for urban dwellers and investors seeking a quality residence in Kuala Lumpur's most connected and culturally vibrant address, minutes from Downtown KL and within walking distance of
KL Sentral, the city's largest integrated transit hub, with an array of dining, retail and lifestyle amenities close at hand.
"97 Scott marks Rembawang Holdings' first foray into the high-rise residential segment," said Rembawang Holdings founder and group executive chairperson Datin Seri Kamisah Johan.
Designed by Cipta Teguh Architects Sdn Bhd, the development’s sculptural form and cascading terraces cut a distinctive profile along Jalan Scott, introducing a new visual landmark within the evolving Brickfields skyline.
With no more than eight units per floor, the development offers one of the lowest unit densities in the area, reflecting a deliberate approach aimed at preserving privacy, comfort and exclusivity within an increasingly dense urban environment.
Cipta Teguh Architects founding partner and executive managing director Lew Chieh Seong said: “97 Scott was designed with an emphasis on visual harmony and modern urban functionality, where its orientation and spatial planning maximise natural light, ventilation and seamless indoor-outdoor living, complementing the rich cultural character and heritage fabric of the surrounding district.”
All units feature duplex layouts with private sky gardens, with most units framing views of the iconic Merdeka 118, Petronas Twin Towers and The Exchange 106 at TRX. Built-up areas range from 669 sq ft to 1,254 sq ft across more than 10 configurations, catering to homeowners seeking versatile living arrangements for extended family members, guests or rental flexibility.
Homes are delivered partly-furnished with optional full furnishing packages available while facilities span five levels, including social and co-working spaces, a wellness studio, anchored by an infinity pool
and a duplex gymnasium at the rooftop level, alongside an automated parking system integrated into the eight-storey podium.
The unveiling was accompanied by the formalisation of the engagement of China State Construction Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd (CSCEM) as the main contractor. CSCEM is part of China State Construction
Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) – the world's largest construction company by revenue.
CSCEM deputy general manager Xu Xiao Bing said, “Compact urban sites demand precision at every stage and 97 Scott is exactly the kind of technically challenging project we thrive on. We are committed to executing this project seamlessly and look forward to more collaboration with Rembawang Holdings moving forward.”
Also at signing ceremony was guest of honour Datuk Seri Shamir Kumar Nandy. For more information, visit rembawang.com.my.
