PETALING JAYA: Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia (PR1MA) is committed in assisting Sabah to address issues regarding digital divide in the state.
This is done via the development of its housing projects, which will all be equipped with broadband facilities.
The presence of PR1MA projects in the state’s urban, suburban and new urban areas could potentially power initiatives to improve digital connectivity in Sabah, resulting in the creation of a sustainable and harmonious community.
“What PR1MA is doing complements efforts made by the Federal Government to improve the digital divide, particularly in rural areas. Hopefully, with better digital connectivity, soon we can see more Sabahans using the internet to further grow their business and potentially venture into international markets with their local offerings,” said PR1MA chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Mutalib Alias in a statement.
PR1MA Members of Corporation (MOC) has approved the development of 30,155 units of PR1MA Homes in Sabah, the biggest property project in the state with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of more than RM7.5bil.
Among the projects up for sale in the first three months of this year are:
- PR1MA @ Borneo Cove (999 units)
- PR1MA @ Kota Marudu (360 units)
- PR1MA @ Ranggu (1,300 units)
- PR1MA @ Kinarut South (502 units),
- PR1MA @ Menggatal (1,200 units),
- PR1MA @ Sandakan City Centre (750 units)
- PR1MA @ Kota Marudu 2 (360 units)
