PETALING JAYA: KL City Gateway has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Maple Hospitality Group, appointing the company as the hospitality and short-term rental management partner for Sutera Suites, the inaugural development within the KL City Gateway masterplan.
The collaboration will see Sutera Suites professionally managed under the MapleSuites brand, bringing together quality development and hospitality expertise to deliver a seamless ownership and guest experience while supporting the long-term value of the development.
Jointly developed by Sunsuria Bhd and Suez Capital Sdn Bhd (Suezcap), KL City Gateway is a seven-acre integrated transit-oriented development located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. The masterplan brings together serviced suites, residences, office suites, retail and lifestyle offerings.
“KL City Gateway is envisioned as an integrated urban destination that brings together quality developments, strong connectivity and thoughtfully planned experiences. This collaboration reflects our commitment to continually enhance the overall offering, beginning with Sutera Suites as the first development within the masterplan,” said Sunsuria Bhd deputy chief operating officer Ter Chen Hong.
As the inaugural development within the KL City Gateway masterplan, Sutera Suites represents a new generation of fully furnished serviced suites designed for modern city living and investment. Located in one of Kuala Lumpur’s most connected locations, the development caters to homeowners, investors, business travellers and visitors seeking quality accommodation in the city centre.
Strategically positioned with direct connectivity to the LRT Kampung Baru station, immediate access to the Saloma Link and the Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH), the development also features a dedicated lifestyle retail boulevard overlooking the iconic KLCC skyline, with the Petronas Twin Towers located less than one kilometre away.
“We are pleased to partner with KL City Gateway on Sutera Suites. This collaboration represents an exciting opportunity to bring Maple Hospitality Group's hospitality management expertise to a strategically located integrated development. We look forward to enhancing the guest experience, optimising operational performance and contributing to the project's long-term success,” said Maple Hospitality Group co-founder Danny Hor.
