JOHOR BARU: There has been much talk about the Johor property market especially on the slowdown and oversupply of property.
However, this is also a great opportunity for homebuyers as they will be able to take advantage of the great discounts and ‘freebies’ that are thrown into the mix.
For those who are unsure of their financial standing, the StarProperty Fair at Komtar JBCC, which runs from Oct 11 to 13, offers a free CTOS check if participants pre-register for the event. For the first 50 successful registrants, they will receive a universal travel adapter.
Several developers like Sunway Group, Gabungan AQRS Bhd andTropicana Corporation Bhd will be at the fair to assist potential homeowners in their selection.
Each development has its own set of offers so potential buyers are encouraged to visit the fair to find out more from the participating property developers.
“In addition, with our Beli&Menang contest, lucky housebuyers will get a chance at winning a brand-new Proton X70 from the moment they make their very first booking of their dream home to the moment they successfully sign the Sales and Purchase Agreement,” says StarProperty customer engagement and support head Ivy Leong.
“Place your booking and be rewarded with the Booker’s Instant Reward Program, which provides up to RM10,000 worth of gift cards, vouchers and cash rebates,” she says.
There are also lots of fun activities and free prizes up for grabs, not considering the wide collection of choice properties for aspiring house buyers and investors.
Children are also not excluded from this fair. There will be a puppet-making workshop, which is a great hands-on family activity with many varieties of animal puppets to choose from, allowing children to unleash their creativity and crafting skills by creating their own puppet toy.
“Or they race against time to complete a puzzle to win a prize with the board game challenge,” says Leong, adding that if the participants complete a short survey, they stand a chance to bring home a plush toy with the Grab&Win game.
