PETALING JAYA: Tropicana Golf and Country Resort (TGCR), the golf and recreational resort arm of Tropicana Corporation Bhd (Tropicana), has won four industry awards, namely The BrandLaureate Lifestyle BestBrands Awards 2026 and three accolades at the Tourism Industry Awards 2026.
TGCR was the only Malaysian golf club recognised at this year's BrandLaureate Awards, underscoring its continued commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for its members and guests. For the Tourism Industry Awards, TGCR won the inaugural Best ESG Excellence Award for Golf Club, recognising its commitment to integrating sustainability and responsible operational practices while the Best Family Oriented Golf Club and Best Golf Lifestyle Restaurant (for Twenty7 Restaurant) recognise TGCR’s holistic approach extending beyond championship golf.

Established in the 1990s, the 625-acre TGCR comprises a 27-hole golf course and expansive 450,000 sq ft clubhouse. Over the years, Tropicana has continuously upgraded and enhanced the golf course and clubhouse to meet the evolving needs and expectations of its members, guests and surrounding communities. Today, the expansive and exclusive clubhouse has evolved into a comprehensive golf, recreational and lifestyle hub, housing six restaurants, a clinic, a grocery store, spa, kindergarten and learning centre and two sports shops, complemented by a wide range of recreational facilities, services and lifestyle offerings.
