Third edition of awards honours the work of real estate agents
The StarProperty.my Awards Real Estate Awards (SREA) 2019 honours the good work done by negotiators and agencies.
The third edition of the annual ceremony, themed “Crazy Rich Agents”, recognised winners in 15 categories and over 30 sub-categories.
The night’s biggest winner, IQI Realty Sdn Bhd, bagged the All-Star Agency Diamond Award along with awards in several other categories, including the Top Voted Agency Award and the Caring Coral Agency Award for its corporate social responsibility work with charitable organisations and local communities.
Real estate negotiators and other representatives of IQI Realty celebrate the win of a dozen awards at the 2019 SREA.
Its group managing director Daniel Ho said the awards would motivate them to do better.

“The awards help emphasise the need to always value our customers,” he said.
Propedia Consultancy founder and principal Vicky How Peck Ying was crowned the Queen of Real Estate, while the King of Real Estate title went to Total Realty team leader Dezmond Lim Khang Wei.

Both agencies also won several other awards.

Among the companies which were recognised included Esprit Estate Agent Sdn Bhd, GPlex Realty Sdn Bhd, Ideal Property Consultants, Tech Realtors Properties Sdn Bhd, Total Realty Sdn Bhd, Chester Properties Sdn Bhd, Taras Property and Jubilee Realty.
The awards ceremony also marked a new chapter for StarProperty Sdn Bhd with the unveiling of its new corporate logo and the announcement of a merger with online property platform provider Propwall.
Star Media Group chief executive officer (CEO) Andreas Vogiatzakis said it marked a new milestone for the company.
He also unveiled the new environmentally-friendly SREA trophy made of recycled pinewood and crafted by local artisans.
Earlier, guests were feted to a sumptuous dinner and entertained by performances from the JC Dance Group at the glamorous event which took place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
