SkyWorld shines at CIBD’s Quest 2024

PETALING JAYA: SkyWorld Development Bhd (SkyWorld) has won several awards at the Quest 2024 event, organised by the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Malaysia, showcasing the developer’s dedication to the highest industry standards when it comes to quality. 

SkyWorld’s The Valley, SkySierra at Setiawangsa was awarded the Anugerah Utama for excellence in MyCrest (Malaysian Carbon Reduction and Environmental Sustainability Tool), Qlassic (Quality Assessment System in Construction), and Shassic (Safety and Health Assessment System in Construction), solidifying its position as a leading example of sustainable and quality-driven development.  

Meanwhile, SkyBlox, an innovative, container-inspired co-living development by SkyWorld, also received recognition for having scored a Qlassic rating of 86%. 

SkyAwani 5 Residences, an affordable housing development and the newest addition to the SkyAwani series, received double recognition for having scored the highest Qlassic rating of 84% for the affordable housing category, and achieving a 5-star Shassic ratings. 

Another winner is SkyVogue at Taman Desa, which achieved a 5-star Shassic rating for residential development.

SkyWorld chief executive officer Lee Chee Seng received the award presented by Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi, accompanied by CIBD chairman Yusuf Abdul Wahab and chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Zaid Zakaria.

Lee expressed gratitude for the awards received, saying: “We are incredibly grateful to our dedicated teams and business associates who have worked tirelessly to uphold our standards of quality and meticulous planning across all our developments.”

“These awards are a testament to their hard work, collaboration, and commitment to excellence. We look forward to continuing this journey together of creating sustainable and high-quality urban living spaces for our communities,” he added.
