KUALA LUMPUR: Formerly known as Majestic Group, Majestic Gen is embarking on a robust start with its rebranding initiative aimed at elevating the property developer to the next level, positioning itself as a top-tier player in the industry.

“In today’s competitive landscape, a strong brand is more than just a logo or a tagline. It’s a promise. It’s a promise of quality, reliability and trustworthiness. And that’s what Majestic Gen stands for. Our rebranding is a pledge to our stakeholders that we will continue to deliver exceptional results, exceed their expectations and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity,” its executive director Ta Wee Dher said.

“The name Majestic Gen reflects our vision, values and commitment to exceptional real estate services. It combines the grandeur of Majestic with the forward-thinking essence of gen (generation), symbolising our dedication to merging timeless elegance with innovative ideas for spaces that leave a lasting impact,” he elaborated at the rebranding held at EQ Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

With the rebranding, Majestic Gen aims to spur a new era of property development by developing benchmarks within the system, challenging the conventional and pushing boundaries. Its current portfolio includes projects with a gross domestic value (GDV) of RM1.7bil.

“We have six highly anticipated launches in 2024 and nine launches slated for 2025, totalling RM3.3bil GDV,” Majestic Gen chief executive officer Datuk Hoo Kim See said.

The upcoming launches span residential, commercial and industrial developments in prime areas such as the Klang Valley, Selangor, Perak, Negeri Sembilan, Penang and Johor.

“We take pride in the overwhelming response to Majestic Residences, our ongoing property development. Since its launch in October last year, it has achieved an impressive 90% take-up rate. These strong sales figures underscore Majestic Gen’s diligence and adaptability in navigating the current challenges of the global property market,” Hoo said.

“Our focus is on meticulously curating spaces within Majestic Residence that eloquently harmonise elegance and ingenuity. Every detail, from architectural intricacies to lifestyle amenities, is thoughtfully considered. This isn't just a guiding principle; it embodies a commitment to redefine how we live,” he added.

During his speech, Hoo noted that the organisation was dedicated to fostering sustainability in the real estate industry by integrating energy-efficient solutions like solar panels and EV charging stations, alongside sustainable construction materials and advanced technologies such as facial recognition and smart home features.

These initiatives would encompass the development planning process with passive design strategies, seeking GreenRE certification for high-rise developments.

Internally, Hoo cited Majestic Gen’s commitment to fostering a conducive environment for its ever-growing team with new initiatives to cultivate and retain talent.

“Expanding our team and attracting top talent is only the start. We’re setting up regional offices at project sites to improve service and support for our clients. Our commitment to recruiting and retaining exceptional individuals runs deep throughout the organisation. As part of this commitment, Majestic Gen will be moving its offices to Damansara Pavilion in the second quarter of this year, creating an ideal environment for our expanding team,” Hoo said.

Ta reaffirmed Majestic Gen’s commitment to excellence, sustainability and customer-centricity, communicating their values, vision and mission to resonate with its audience and stakeholders.

The move signalled a larger evolution in the organisation’s internal processes, centred around improving the efficiency of the company staff, culture and its customers.

Majestic Gen chairman Tan Sri Ta Kin Yan and his wife Puan Sri Lim Chai Yin, as well as Majestic Gen chief operating officer Bong Fean Loo, were present to celebrate the rebranding.
