PUCHONG: More than 400 participated in AYER Holdings Bhd’s (AYER) community gotong-royong covering approximately 240 acres in nine cleaning zones, underscoring the developer’s commitment to engaging the community for sustainability and well-being.
The event was officiated by Selangor’s chief minister Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari and attended by Seri Serdang assemblyman Abbas Salimmi Che Adzmi, Sepang Municipal Council president Ani Ahmad, town planning director Rozeta Md Yusuf, Menteri Besar Selangor Incorporated (MBI) land and property division head Mohd Zapi Abdullah, AYER board of directors chairman Alex Lim Kee Choon, directors Jammie Lim Ke Hun and Lim Wan Yee, and group chief executive officer Joanna Lee.
AYER has brought together residents, corporate partners and orphanage Rumah Charis in the initiative that collected a total of 451kg of waste, reinforcing the spirit of environmental care and collective responsibility.
“This initiative is more than just a clean-up. It represents our long-term commitment to shaping communities that are not only beautiful and functional but also sustainable and people-centred,” said Lee.
Lee also announced that AYER will unveil the Bandar Bukit Puchong Township masterplan in early 2026.
“Our upcoming masterplan will redefine township living through pedestrian-friendly design, green and nature-centric amenities and thoughtfully integrated spaces that encourage community connection,” she said.
