KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s family entertainment landscape welcomes HarborLand Malaysia, the country’s largest indoor playground, located at KLGCC Mall, Bukit Kiara.
Spanning approximately 25,000 sq ft with a 30-ft ceiling height, HarborLand Malaysia offers a bright, spacious play environment filled with natural sunlight and overlooking the scenic KLGCC golf course. The new attraction marks the first international expansion of Thailand’s renowned HarborLand Group.
The launch ceremony was officiated by HarborLand Malaysia chief executive officer Jane Leong, Royal Thai Embassy Minister and deputy chief of mission Anan Pikultipsakorn, HarborLand Malaysia operations general manager Tancy Lau, HarborLand Thailand chief executive officer Prakarn Nokhong and chief financial officer Lukrak Vasudhara, Sime Darby Group group chief financial officer Betty Lau Sui Hing and investment and asset management chief operating officer Aurelia Lee.
“Malaysia’s hot weather can limit outdoor playtime for children during the day. Our focus is on creating a space where children can play comfortably and freely while parents feel completely confident about safety and cleanliness. We are proud to bring HarborLand’s trusted brand of family play to Malaysia, and to redefine indoor entertainment through creativity, education and safe play,” said Leong.
“We are pleased to be invited to the grand opening of HarborLand Malaysia, the first international branch of HarborLand Thailand’s indoor playground. This milestone not only highlights the creative economy partnership and the dynamic business-to-business cooperation between Thailand and Malaysia, but also offers experiences of fun of HarborLand Thailand,” said Pikultipsakorn.
