SHAH ALAM: Eco Ardence and Missi Care Sdn Bhd today signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to establish a 24-hour care hub at the township’s first low-rise villas. Under the MOU, Missi Care will be the exclusive care hub operator for Eco Ardence.
The MOU was signed at the Eco Ardence Sales Gallery by EcoWorld Development Group Bhd Eco Central-North and Eco Business Park chief development officer Datuk Ho Kwee Hong and Missi Care Sdn Bhd founder Lim Chin Seng.
Set for launch this year, the villas are the first low-rise homes at Eco Ardence, a 533.92-acre freehold township in Setia Alam, Shah Alam, developed as a joint venture between EcoWorld and Cascara Sdn Bhd.
Residents will have access to 38 facilities. Among them is the care hub which provides 24-hour caregiver support, house visits within stipulated hours, professional health advice, first-aid treatment, CPR and AED emergency response, medical liaison and referral assistance. Basic health assessments covering blood pressure and temperature are complimentary.
“We wanted one that residents would use on an ordinary day and one a family would be grateful for on a difficult day. A care hub does both. Many Malaysian households live across three generations under one roof, with young children and ageing parents in the same home. When help is needed, it is needed quickly and having trained caregivers on site keeps that help close to home,” said Ho.
“Eco Ardence has grown into a township of families at every stage of life and these villas are designed for them. Curating care services inside a residential development is how we make ageing in place real in the townships we build. We are grateful to Missi Care for coming on board from day one. Having them on site makes this service part of the development itself,” added Ho.

The residents’ maintenance fee covers access to the care hub’s facilities. Individual services such as wound dressing and glucose checks are charged separately. Alongside its care services, the hub will run daily and monthly wellness activities, such as morning exercises and a health-monitoring station for weight, height and BMI, as well as monthly health talks and sessions like handicraft and baking. The care hub opens on completion of the villas.
