KUALA LUMPUR: Property developer Bon Estates has launched a new road connection between Jalan Duta Kiara and Jalan Kiara 3 in Mont Kiara, providing an additional access route for residents, businesses, pedestrians and motorists travelling through the area. Bon Estates has undertaken the construction of the 40m-long, two-lane, two-way road with a pedestrian walkway as a CSR initiative.
The launch ceremony was officiated by Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories) and Segambut Member of Parliament Hannah Yeoh. Also present were Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Seri Fadlun Mak Ujud, Bon Estates founder and chairman Goh Soo Sing and chief executive officer Chan Jin-Wy.
The opening comes ahead of the upcoming Vacant Possession of Bon Kiara, Bon Estates’ second high-rise development in Mont Kiara. Comprising 410 large-format residences, Bon Kiara is now fully sold, with key handover scheduled for October 2026 and the project progressing ahead of schedule.
Yeoh commended the developer, saying that as the area of Mont Kiara houses about 50 high-rise developments, a collaboration between the authorities and developers to integrate seamless connectivity and green spaces is increasingly important.
Bon Estates said the road is part of the developer's initiative to value-add beyond the boundaries of its development.
“The completion of Bon Kiara and the opening of this road are two different milestones. One is about delivering homes to homeowners; the other is about contributing to the neighbourhood around them,” said Chan.
The road opening and upcoming handover also mark Bon Estate’s 10th anniversary of development in Klang Valley.
