StarProperty has announced that submissions for the prestigious StarProperty Real Estate Developer Awards 2026 are officially open. These awards recognise deserving developments across Malaysia and endeavour to inspire developers to build properties that meet the evolving demands of nation-building.
Developers are invited to nominate their projects across 28 main categories, with the final deadline for all submissions set for January 16, 2026.
The StarProperty Awards categories play a crucial role in conferring status and credibility upon projects, thereby strengthening the trust of homebuyers and investors. For the 2026 edition, several awards have been recalibrated to better reflect and facilitate the fast-changing dynamics of the industry, ensuring recognition is given to the most innovative and impactful developments.
A new category - The Urban Renewal Award - has been introduced to highlight visionary developers who are transforming Malaysia's landscape by redeveloping, rejuvenating or purposefully repurposing existing structures and sites, breathing new life into cities and communities.
Winning projects across most categories are classified into three tiers of achievement: Excellence, Honours and Merit. The only exceptions to this classification are the special All-Stars and StarProperty Readers’ Choice Awards.
