PETALING JAYA: City developer SkyWorld Development Group (SkyWorld) celebrated another milestone with the early completion of SkyAwani 3 Residences.
The award-winning Awani series has cemented its position as a must-owned starter home for first-time home buyers, given its affordable price, practical layout and full-fledged condominium facilities.
Commemorating the achievement with a topping out ceremony on its roof-top, SkyWorld also marked another achievement, complying with the Qlassic standards set by the Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB).
“SkyAwani 3 Residences is more than an affordable home,” said SkyWorld founder and group managing director Datuk Ng Thien Phing.
“With strong commitment in quality workmanship and comprehensive facilities, we believe we have successfully changed the perception of affordable homes where our Awani series will increase in its market value and is something that is value for money to our buyers,” he said.
Present to grace and officiate the event was Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim. He was accompanied by Deputy Minister Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias, secretary-general Datuk Seri Rosida Jaafar, Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Seri Mahadi Che Ngah, PR1MA Corporation Malaysia chairman Datuk Fathul Bari Mat Jahya and Federal Territories Land and Mineral director Datuk Che Roslan. Also present were SkyWorld director Zafidi Mohamad, chief executive officer Koong Wai Seng and deputy chief executive officer Lee Chee Seng.
To date, SkyWorld has launched five projects under the Awani series, and all projects are fully sold. SkyAwani 1 and SkyAwani 2 Residences were handed over in 2018 and 2020 respectively, whereas SkyAwani 3 Residences is targeted for hand over early next year.
SkyAwani 3 Residences comprises 1,905 units, spread out in three towers interconnected by a SkyBridge at Level 52, where residents get to enjoy unobstructed 360-degree breathtaking city skyline while enjoying wellness and community activities here.
There are over 20 facilities to pamper its future residents, such as a swimming pool, bubble jet Jacuzzi, bamboo garden, jogging track and lounge.
“We know quality is the key differentiator. Hence, we make quality our commitment. We built Malaysia’s First Quality Centre to educate the public on the quality workmanship in Malaysia. Best of all, we welcome our homebuyers to join the quality tour and even teach them how to identify defects.
“Some see this as a double-edged sword but we took it as a challenge to push ourselves harder to deliver higher quality homes because we are committed in delivering our Brand Promise,” said Ng.
Next year, SkyWorld is expected to launch SkyAwani 6 Residences, which is located in Setapak, next to SkyArena, an intergrated development that comprises of residences, commercial and the city’s first multi-storey and multi-facility SkyArena Sports Complex.
SkyWorld has been supporting the government’s initiatives and is known to be one of the biggest contributors of Residensi Wilayah Keluarga Malaysia, previously known as Residensi Wilayah. According to Ng, SkyWorld is in full support of building 80,000 affordable homes by year 2028.
