
KUALA LUMPUR: SkyWorld Development Bhd (SkyWorld) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara). The signing took place during the Mara Synergy Summit: Sustainability as the Nation’s Growth Engine, in conjunction with Mara’s 60th Anniversary at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur.
SkyWorld and Mara will collaborate on high-impact investments in property development, infrastructure and community-driven projects. They will also partner on educational initiatives, including industrial training, research and technology benchmarking to build a future-ready workforce.
“This collaboration with Mara reflects our commitment to building not just homes but sustainable communities and future opportunities. By combining SkyWorld’s expertise in urban development with Mara’s strong mandate in socio-economic advancement, we aim to create meaningful impact through strategic investments and education initiatives that will benefit both industry and society,” said SkyWorld chief executive officer Lee Chee Seng.
The MoU establishes a three-year framework for cooperation and highlights SkyWorld’s commitment to sustainable, community-driven development and initiatives that promote human capital and inclusive growth.
Present with Lee at the event were Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid, Mara director general Datuk Zulfikri Osman and chairman Datuk Wira Asyraf Wajdi.
