Potential property buyers at last year’s Mapex held in Ipoh Parade. — filepic
As reported in The Star Online the Malaysia Property Exhibition (Mapex) will be held at Ipoh Parade shopping centre from Friday to Sunday between 10am and 10pm.
Organised by the Real Estate And Housing Developers’ Association (Rehda) Perak branch, the exhibition will see 51 booths ranging from 35 developers, several banks and property agencies.
Organising chairman Loh Ban Ho said Mapex would be a great opportunity for property hunters to look for their ideal home or investment. The event is expecting 20,000 visitors this weekend.
He went on to inform that Bank Negara has recently announced that they will be cutting the overnight policy rate and banks are expected to adjust the interest rates for housing loan to about 4.25%.
Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association Perak Branch Chairman Tony Khoo Boon Chuan said various properties will be on sale at the exhibition.
The event will be opened by State Local Government Committee Chairman Datuk Rusnah Kassim.
