Against a backdrop of economic uncertainty, Nexsgen Realty turned its annual dinner into more than a celebration. It was a night of a clear statement of intent.
Held under the theme A Night of Prestige, A Legacy of Excellence, the event celebrated Nexsgen’s sixth anniversary, recognising not only achievements but also growth, resilience and leadership succession.
At its core, the theme reflects Nexsgen’s belief that true success goes beyond individual accomplishments. Through structured mentorship and leadership development, the company focuses on building individuals who can multiply success across generations. The company believes excellence is not talent-based but system-driven, teachable and replicable.
The evening brought together leaders, top performers and rising talents to reflect on a year that tested the market but ultimately strengthened the organisation. Despite a challenging 2025 property landscape, Nexsgen delivered its strongest results to date.
The company recorded 3,513 units sold, generating RM2.5bil in gross development value (GDV) and RM71mil in commissions. These figures surpassed the previous year’s performance, signalling growth and consistency in execution.
The results were driven by several key factors such as a strong internal training system, clear leadership alignment across all levels, disciplined project selection and a proven duplication model that enables teams to scale performance. More importantly, Nexsgen is built on a culture of accountability where execution and consistency take precedence over individual talent alone.
Nexsgen founder and chief executive officer Sean Chan stressed that recognition goes beyond stage moments and awards.
“Glory isn’t just about being seen. It’s about what happens when no one is watching – the discipline, the persistence and the daily commitment to improve. Excellence is not a matter of talent. It is a standard that can be taught, repeated and sustained through the right systems and mindset,” he added.

Nexsgen reinforced that true success lies in the ability to grow others, not just achieve personal results. This philosophy was reflected in both the messaging and the awards that were presented.
The annual dinner was supported by Gold sponsors Tropicana Corporation Bhd and HCK Capital Group, alongside Silver sponsors Masteron Property, Didian and Setia Awan.
A major highlight of the evening was the announcement of Nexsgen’s acquisition of its own headquarters, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth.
The upcoming Wisma Nexsgen, a four-storey corner building valued at RM7mil, represents a long-term investment in infrastructure to support scale and operational excellence.
The facility will include a 300-seat meeting hall, dedicated training spaces, calling spaces and improved working environments designed to strengthen collaboration, productivity and talent development.

During the evening, the Nexs Icon Award Night recognised excellence across individuals and teams for their performance over the past year. Awards were presented for Top Unit Achievers, Top GDV Achievers, Leadership Performance, Team Excellence, Rising Star and Consistent Performer categories.
Special recognition was given to project directors, deputy project directors and project managers who exemplified the spirit of A Legacy of Excellence where leaders, who not only delivered strong personal results but also successfully built and nurtured high-performing teams.

Looking ahead, Nexsgen has set an ambitious target of 6,000 units for 2026, nearly doubling its current output. To achieve this, the company plans to expand its operational footprint beyond Kuala Lumpur, while strengthening its internal systems and leadership pipeline.
Key focus areas include scaling its duplication model, refining project selection strategies and investing further in structured mentorship programs. At the same time, Nexsgen is opening its doors to potential partners. Teams seeking stronger branding, access to projects and a more structured growth platform are being invited to collaborate as part of the company’s expansion strategy.
If there was one clear takeaway from the night, it was this: Nexsgen is not just building sales figures. It is building a system designed to sustain growth through people.
The theme, A Legacy of Excellence, wasn’t just a slogan. It reflected a long-term approach where leadership, systems and culture work together to create results that can be repeated yearly. As the company steps into 2026, its message is simple but confident: the foundation is set and the next level is within reach.
