
SELANGOR: IOI Properties Group Bhd (IOIPG) has agreed to sell 136.03 acres of industrial land at its IOI Industrial Park @ Banting for RM740.68mil to Bridge Data Centres Malaysia VII Sdn Bhd (BDC).
The sale and purchase agreement was signed between Fortune Growers Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of IOIPG and BDC. The agreement was executed by IOIPG group chief executive officer Datuk Lee Yeow Seng and BDC chief executive officer Eric Fan.
Present were IOIPG property development group chief executive officer Teh Chin Guan and BDC president Sandy Xiao.
“We are pleased to announce that Bridge Data Centres has acquired 136.03 acres to further expand their data centre business model and this shows the confidence of our clientele towards IOIPG’s industrial parks,” said Lee.
He added that the strategic location of the 322-acre IOI Industrial Park @ Banting, with access to major highways and close proximity to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Port Klang, enhances its attractiveness to investors.
Launched in September 2024, the IOI Industrial Park Series comprises three locations nationwide, including Banting, Melaka and Iskandar Malaysia.
