New Mahsan-Rompin Bypass and upgraded Jalan Bandar IOI-Mahsan a boon to the Bandar IOI community
NEGERI SEMBILAN: IOI Properties Group Berhad (“IOI Properties”), the developer of Bandar IOI @ Jempol has completed the Mahsan – Rompin bypass and the upgrading of Jalan Bandar IOI-Mahsan.
Representing IOI Properties in the official opening ceremony of this newly built bypass on 19 June 2017 was its group executive chairman Tan Sri Datuk Lee Shin Cheng. The opening was officiated by Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus' YAB Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan and Tan Sri Datuk Lee Shin Cheng.
Also present was IOI Properties senior general manager (property development) Tan Keng Seng, Yang Dipertua Majlis Daerah Jempol Tuan Haji Zazali bin Salehudin, ADUN Serting YB Dato Haji Shamshulkahar bin Haji Mohamad Deli, and Negeri Sembilan exco committee YB Datuk Manickam A/L Letchuman.
The work was completed over 18 months and the cost of the new Mahsan-Rompin bypass and the upgraded Jalan Bandar IOI-Mahsan were RM 25 million and RM 4 million respectively. The bypass connecting Mahsan to Rompin and the upgraded Jalan Bandar IOI-Mahsan will ease traffic congestion and enhance the connectivity of Bandar IOI and its surrounding townships.
“The Group is grateful for the assistance and support from the state government of Negeri Sembilan in initiating the idea and planning of this bypass which is vital in bringing social and economic benefits to the Jempol community and beyond; and the upgrading of Jalan Bandar IOI-Mahsan has improved road safety,” said Tan Sri Datuk Lee Shin Cheng during the official opening ceremony according to a statement.
“In our efforts to build sustainable townships, we believe we have a role to play in creating thriving communities. With an enhanced infrastructure serving the township, we foresee greater property value appreciation in Bandar IOI,” said IOI Properties senior general manager property development) Tan Keng Seng.
Bandar IOI is now in the midst of constructing a total of 126 units of Rumah Mampu Milik Type A and 206 units of Type B at Bandar IOI Bahau and the first phase of the homes are expected to be completed by end of 2017, further adding on the vibrancy of the township.
