KUALA LUMPUR: EcoWorld Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld) has partnered with Xiaohongshu (XHS) to launch the Cuti-Cuti Kuala Lumpur Red Dot Event, a month-long cultural celebration at Bukit Bintang City Centre (BBCC) starting from Sept 27 to Oct 31, 2025.
The festival week at Tuah 1895 will feature traditional games, artisanal crafts and creative workshops including lantern making and batik painting. With the spend and redeem initiative, shoppers can collect limited-edition Captain Potato merchandise by making qualifying purchases. The snap, post and redeem activation invites visitors to capture moments at designated spots and share them on Xiaohongshu to receive exclusive gifts. The Red Dot Event is open daily from 10 am to 10 pm at BBCC.
“At EcoWorld, we believe in co-creating developments that go beyond physical spaces to inspire how people live, connect and experience the city. Partnering with Xiaohongshu allows us to celebrate culture, lifestyle and digital engagement in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, attracting both local and international visitors. BBCC has always been envisioned as a dynamic urban destination, and this event reflects our drive to bring that vision to life,” said EcoWorld chief executive officer Datuk Chang Khim Wah at the media preview.
Also present at the media preview were BBCC Development Sdn Bhd chief operating officer Azril Rashid and EcoWorld group branding general manager Steven Tang.
