NEGERI SEMBILAN: Eco Business Park 7 (EBP 7) has officially opened its sales gallery, marking a key milestone as the first industrial development to be launched within Parcel C of the Malaysia Vision Valley 2.0 (MVV 2.0) masterplan. The event was officiated by Negeri Sembilan Chief Minister Datuk Seri Utama Aminuddin Harun, who is also NS Corporation (NS Corp) chairman, together with senior representatives from Eco World Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld), SD Guthrie Bhd and NS Corp.

EBP 7 is developed through a public–private partnership between EcoWorld, SD Guthrie via its wholly-owned subsidiary SD Guthrie Land Ventures Sdn Bhd (SDGLV) and NS Corp, the state agency responsible for coordinating and driving the MVV 2.0 masterplan. This collaboration brings together EcoWorld’s expertise in industrial park development, SD Guthrie’s extensive land resources and NS Corp’s strategic planning vision for Negeri Sembilan. Together, the partners aim to create a high-value,  future-ready industrial ecosystem that attracts quality investments, promotes sustainable growth and generates skilled employment for the state.

Located on approximately 1,195 acres of freehold land in Bukit Pelandok, Mukim Jimah, Port Dickson, the development carries an estimated gross development value (GDV) of approximately RM3bil. It forms a major component of Parcel C within the  MVV 2.0 blueprint, an area earmarked for industrial, logistics and economic clusters that will strengthen Negeri Sembilan’s position as a competitive manufacturing and investment hub in Malaysia’s southern corridor.

The park is conceived as an integrated industrial development complemented by commercial hubs that create a self-sustaining business environment. It will offer a mix of medium-sized prime industrial lots and ready-built factories, alongside retail and service facilities designed to support the needs of businesses, entrepreneurs and workers. Strategically located near the proposed Nilai–Labu-Enstek Expressway

(NLE), the park enjoys convenient access to Kuala Lumpur International Airport  (KLIA), Port Klang and the PLUS Highway, ensuring efficient connectivity to major logistics routes across the country and beyond.

Catering to high-growth sectors such as aerospace, electrical and electronics, logistics and e-commerce, halal industries, biotechnology and advanced manufacturing, Eco Business Park 7 is expected to drive strong inflows of domestic and foreign direct investment (FDI)  while contributing to MVV 2.0’s goal of fostering sustainable, high-value industrialisation that benefits both businesses and communities.

Aminuddin emphasised that the project is a flagship example of how strategic partnerships between the public and private sectors can turn vision into tangible economic value. “MVV 2.0 is a state-led, private sector–driven initiative aimed at creating quality employment and attracting high-impact industries.  EBP 7, as the first industrial project in Parcel C, will serve as a catalyst and play a pivotal role in achieving these goals,” he said.

“EBP 7 also stands to benefit from Negeri Sembilan’s position as part of the Central Region Industrial Cluster which was recently launched by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim," he added.

EcoWorld president and chief executive officer Datuk Chang Khim Wah said: “The grand launch of Eco Business Park 7 marks the start of Parcel C’s transformation into a vibrant industrial and logistics hub. With our experience in delivering successful  Eco Business Parks, we are confident that EBP 7 will attract quality investors, create  skilled jobs and contribute meaningfully to Negeri Sembilan’s long-term economic  growth.”

Meanwhile, SD Guthrie group managing director Datuk Mohamad Helmy Othman Basha added: “We are excited to see this collaboration take off with early interest boding well for our partnership. EBP 7 represents an important milestone in Guthrie's growth within the industrial parks segment; it marks the coming together of vision, strategy and execution. While Guthrie works to unlock the value of our landbank, we are delighted  to be a part of Negri Sembilan's vision and the national development agenda.”

Looking ahead, EBP 7 will catalyse new investment and technological advancement, fostering collaboration among industries, investors and local communities. The project underscores the collective commitment of EcoWorld, SD  Guthrie and NS Corp to position Negeri Sembilan as a destination of choice for high-value manufacturing and next-generation industries — a key step toward realising  Malaysia Vision Valley 2.0’s ambition of sustainable and inclusive regional growth.

Also present at the opening were Negeri Sembilan State Secretary Datuk Mohd Zafir Ibrahim, State Executive Council member Teo Kok Seong, NS Corp chief executive officer Norazhar Musa, EcoWorld executive chairman Tan Sri Liew Kee Sin and deputy chief executive officer Liew Tian Xiong and SD Guthrie chairman Tan Sri Nik Norzrul Thani Nik Hassan Thani, group deputy managing director Mohd Haris Mohd Arshad and chief financial officer Renaka Ramachandran.
