
JOHOR BAHRU: DHL Supply Chain Malaysia has officially commenced operations at its new South Region Hub 2 in the Senai Airport City Free Zone, marking the company’s second major logistics investment in Johor. This follows the opening of South Region Hub 1 in April 2025, which has achieved full occupancy by high-tech multinational corporations.
The new 200,854 sq ft Hub 2 expands DHL’s capacity to support Senai Airport City’s industrial and logistics ecosystem, particularly in advanced manufacturing and technology-driven supply chains. The facility is fully occupied by key investors, demonstrating strong demand for integrated logistics infrastructure in the area.
DHL South Region Hub 2 features sustainability measures, including solar panels and rainwater harvesting, aligning with DHL’s global sustainability commitment.
Present at the opening event were DHL Supply Chain Southeast Asia chief executive officer Edwin Wong, managing director Mario Lorenz, Senai Airport City management team Claudia Wong and key investors operating within Senai Airport City, including Wiwynn, Shenghuabo and Mercedes-Benz.
The development of both hubs highlight the contribution of Senai Airport City’s ecosystem in driving business activity and economic growth in Johor.
