KUALA LUMPUR – Affinity Realty celebrated the grand opening of its Cheras branch, marking the company’s sixth branch nationwide in only six months and reinforcing its rapid expansion across Malaysia’s key growth corridors.
Strategically positioned, the Cheras branch will focus on the southern Klang Valley, covering high-demand areas such as Kajang, Bangi and Cyberjaya. These locations continue to attract strong buyer interest due to infrastructure development, accessibility and growing residential communities.
Through this expansion, Affinity Realty strengthens its collaboration with leading developers including EcoWorld Development Group Bhd, IOI Properties Group Bhd, TLS Group, Scientex Bhd, Avaland Bhd, LBS Bina Group Bhd, among others, offering a wide range of landed and high-rise residential products.

The Cheras branch founding partner Mavics Leow, a recipient of the 2025 Star Property All-Stars Award and Thriving Award – Negotiator category. Speaking at the opening, Mavics described the milestone as more than just a physical expansion.
“Today is not just about opening a branch. It represents trust, belief, struggle, growth and dreams coming together. None of this would have been possible without the support and belief of the team,” he said.
He added that the Cheras branch operates with a clear people-first mission to build capable, confident and holistic property professionals, rather than focusing solely on transactions.
“Our goal is to empower consultants to grow in knowledge, mindset, personal branding and leadership. We want our people to earn sustainably through skills, systems and consistency – not luck,” Leow said.

The Cheras branch has set an ambitious target to build a 200-member team by 2026, with a projected gross development value exceeding RM100mil.
Affinity Realty founder and chief operating officer Steve Yap expressed his appreciation for the team’s commitment and rapid execution.
“I’m deeply grateful to the team for believing in this platform. In just one month, the Cheras team earned the trust of multiple developers through strong performance and execution. That speaks volumes about the culture we are building,” he said.

Yap also outlined the company’s broader growth vision for 2026, with Affinity Realty aiming to reach 1,000 registered members nationwide, supported by continuous branch expansion, leadership development and a strong organisational structure.
Beyond business growth, both leaders highlighted the importance of culture within the organisation, emphasising gratitude, open communication, integrity, teamwork and professionalism as core values that drive long-term success.
The opening of the Cheras branch underscores Affinity Realty’s commitment to building a scalable, people-centric and sustainable real estate platform, designed to empower agents, deliver value to developers and provide trusted advisory services to homebuyers across Malaysia.
Also present at the grand opening were principals Kimberly Hong and Jason Choo as well as chief operating officer Lim Kak Yi.
