Self-development, otherwise known as personal development, is the proactive effort to develop your knowledge, skills and abilities.

To unlock your full potential in the real estate industry and help realise dreams and aspirations, the focus on self-development should be at the forefront of priorities throughout one’s career as a real estate agent (REA) or real estate negotiator (REN).

Why focus on self-development?

Property agents have much to gain from self-development efforts, especially given the real estate industry is dynamic as changes constantly influence it in technology, regulations, volatile market conditions and new developments.

“New skills like social media marketing, copywriting and video marketing are crucial for the new era agents”, Gregory mentioned.

Undoubtedly, the best way to learn is to read-up on the knowledge and experiences of other property agents and experts in the industry.
