The residents of Taman Kuchai Jaya are concern about their safety following an armed robbery which took place in Jalan Kuchai Lama in broad daylight in May 2011. The gang of robbers with lethal weapons which include a fire-arm, slashed one of their victim’s head and neck near a bank in Jalan Kuchai Lama around 9.15am. There were 4 robbers involved in this crime and they were armed with pistol, hammer and machete. Residents nearby were shocked as Jalan Kuchai Lama is one of the busiest roads in the Kuchai area. Despite its small land area and aging factor, the terrace houses here are quite affordable compared to most of terraces in the city and neighboring areas. A terrace house is a good buy in this area following sky-rocket high price of the new launch condominiums nearby.
