Star Property Fair 2009 Day 2 - Brisk Sales Reported by Exhibitors

The exhibitors at The Star Property Fair 2009 welcome the second day of the fair with great expectations, following yesterday’s reports of brisk sales clocked in by a number of Exhibitors.

APL Development Sdn Bhd sold four units of their prestigious My Habitat 2 condominium yesterday itself, while high-end developer Kenny Height enjoyed overwhelming response from the visitors. Kenny Height also reported a very successful Day 1.

Meanwhile, Kenny Tan Kien Huat of AP Land commented that the fair has managed to give his company a major exposure his company needs.

“We get the right exposure and a lot of positive response from the visitors,” Kenny enthuses, despite having no deals closed for the first day.

The Star Property Fair will continue daily from 11am – 7pm until Sunday, November 29, 2009.

CIMB Mega Auction – First Session Attracts Over 300 Participants 

The Star Property Fair Day 2 saw an even bigger crowd than opening day despite the weekend holiday. One of the highlights of Day 2 was the CIMB Mega Auction where 21 properties were scheduled for bidding in Session 1 which started at 12 noon.

A total of three properties were auctioned off in a space in approximately 30 minutes, with one upbeat of 33percent of from the reserved price.

The next session of CIMB Mega Auction is to be conducted by Ng Chan Mau, at 3pm today, Saturday, November 28, 2009.

CIMB Mega Auction - Second Session: A RM900,000 Penthouse For Only RM729,000! 

Mr. Ooi came to the Star Property Fair with the intention to buy, but he did not expect to walk away with a Penthouse valued in the region of RM900,000 for a mere RM729,000 which was the winning bid.

In fact it was the only bid for the property which is a 4 Bedrooms Penthouse with 1 Guest Room and 1 Maid's Room. The property occupies a built up area of over 5,000 sqft and is located along Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur and was auctioned alongside 19 others at CIMB’s Mega Auction, a highlight of the Fair.

Session 2 of the Mega Auction was conducted at 3pm today and a total of 9 units successfully went under the hammer. An estimate of 500 people attended the auction.

The Star Property Fair is open to the public until 7pm Sunday 29th November 2009.
