    The 19 USJ City Mall was an abandoned project back in the late 1990s. The entire project was revived in 2007 and completed in 2009. It is often compared to Low Yat Plaza in Kuala Lumpur by the residents in USJ. People staying in Petaling Jaya or Subang Jaya would still prefer to go to Low Yat Plaza because of its wide variety of choices and cheaper prices.Residents around Subang would choose to go to The 19 USJ City Mall for groceries, cafes and IT products. There are many complaints about the poor service of the management company and interested tenants were put off by the rude attitude of the marketing department. Besides that, there two other larger shopping mall in USJ called The Main Place in USJ 21 and One City in USJ 25 which houses many more tenants. This would lead to a less crowd in The 19 USJ City Mall.The USJ 19 City Mall is strategically located off Persiaran Kewajipan, which should attract much traffic. The traffic congestion is much worse around USJ 19 compared to other parts of the township during rush hour. An LRT station is being built nearby in USJ 21 and hopefully it would reduce traffic congestion around the area.
