Radia Residences will be one of the first high-rise serviced apartments in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam. The freehold is a part of a bigger Radia project, in which it will include Radia Retail and Radia Offices. The construction giant Sime Darby joined hands with another heavyweight, UEM Sunrise for this project. 2018 will be the year when Radia Residences will be ready to be occupied.Five blocks of Radia Residences will line up on top of parking bays, flanked by two office buildings. The residential buildings will be either of 11 or 12 floors, with the 640 units going off starting at RM487,000. A famous French architecture firm, J+H Boifills is the designer of the property, elevating the premium feel of it. There are numerous layouts on offer, giving buyers options, and the fact that a famous French architecture is behind the design, the potential of this property is definitely enviable. Surely, the BCA Green Mark certification is a product of the smart design from the French.However, it must be noted that the surrounding areas are very light in term of population. Hence, there is that worry that the commercial section of Radia will not take off. What more with failed commercial blocks that are already there in Bukit Jelutong.The promise of the project looks to be a positive one. Only the unproven Bukit Jelutong looks to be the barrier between Radia Residences and instant success. Fortunately, the smart brains at Sime Darby and UEM Sunrise have surely thought this through, and will do their best to ensure that Radia will be a well known social and shopping hubs.
